The capital of Arizona and the sixth most populous city of The States, housing over 1.6 million people. Generally, the city has a constant temperature flow between 30 and 40˚C which equals 86-104˚F. Even locals admitted to me that they cannot bear with the heat. And believe me, the heat was on. Especially during the match between Phoenix Suns and New Orleans Pelicans. As the home game took place in the Talking Stick Resort Arena, the Suns unfortunately lost with 103 points against 122. Willie’s Taco Joint was located closeby, at which I grabbed a delicious meal of… well, tacos. Taking the bus to explore the area of South Medlock Place was rewarding as I discovered Ilan Averbuch’s sculpture “The Crossing.”
